Karma & Jonar

The Threat

The Stone Dragon

The Stone Dragon wants to take over the entire world, and to help him, he has gravel gnomes, rock trolls, and boulders.

The rock trolls are made of stone and boulders. They are big and slow but extremely strong and evil. A boulder is an enormous stone creature made up of large boulders and is about the size of three rock trolls. It is a leader figure that controls the gravel gnomes and rock trolls.

Companion

Gala

Jonar’s kint and best friend. Kints are a bit like a mix between a cat and a fox — a popular pet in Glimeria. Gala has been Jonar’s since he was little.

Gala’s fur collar changes colour depending on the emotional state.

Companion

Rory

The daskus is a mythical creature. Larger than a bear and with sharp fangs, it looks deadly — and if it feels threatened, it can be.

However, the daskus mainly feeds on fruit and leaves, and is a loyal and faithful friend. It is said to have magical powers, similar to a unicorn.

Book One

The Rock Trolls

For a thousand years, Glimeria has been an enchantingly beautiful land. But ever since the Stone Dragon landed in the mountains, the sky has darkened. More and more often, the dragon’s rock trolls come to the country’s farms to steal magical stardust, which they take to the dragon.

The two brave children, Karma and Jonar, suddenly find themselves in the middle of the adventure. Since their families refuse to cooperate, they have to come up with a plan together to outsmart the dragon’s rock trolls.

Under the Surface

After a tough journey on the sea, Karma and Jonar have found shelter with the pirate Njord in the water city of Noatun. In the middle of a meal of seaweed soup, the walls and floor start to shake — and in the next second, the building sinks into the sea, transformed into a submarine.

Suddenly the two friends are in a magical underwater world, hunting the lost spellbook. But trouble lurks around every coral reef, and there is sinister magic even beneath the surface.

The Ordos Monster

The first steps are stumbling and unsteady in the scorching hot sand. Karma and Jonar leave the safety of the submarine to explore the desert on Ordos Island, where they hope to find the lost spellbook. But after heatstroke and belligerent crab-snakes, the friends almost give up.

Then they see an oasis in the distance — water, and lovely shade. But the oasis behaves more and more strangely as time goes on. How will they know what is real and what is not?

Together with Myrrus they travel to the lonely island of Inferno, where Stinga waits in her underwater cave. How far are Karma and Jonar willing to go to save Glimeria?
